She works for Nottinghamshire Police where she is a Control Operator. She works a full rotating shift pattern. Her job role involves dispatching officers to both emergency & non emergency incidents depending on priorities & current force policies. She takes mainly emergency 999 calls & offers help & advice to people who are often very distressed. She is also a tutor for new members of staff.
She is a keen gardener & also loves baking cakes of all flavours. She enjoys swimming & spending time with her god children. She also has a cat.
“I am looking forward to travelling to Kentucky. This is somewhere that I wouldn't have had the opportunity to visit had I not been taking part in this group study exchange. I am looking forward to all the huge spectrum of people that I will be meeting. I would also like to go on a paddle steamer should the opportunity arise.”
